I attended the fantastic Catalina Invasion shows for Peter Hook And The Light鈥檚! Thursday night was the VIP Acoustic show with a Q&A session. The Circle band were all gracious with their time and shared some great stories. The second night was taped for a broadcast and was all electric - it was fantastic! The third night was a combination of a few acoustic songs early and then all electric, with no repeats on songs. His band the Circle, including Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham, and Vic Johnson, are all first class musicians and rock royalty. The venue, built in 1929 by the Wrigley family from Chicago who own the island, is a piece of artwork. It鈥檚 a beautiful venue, unlike anyplace in the world. I had never been to Catalina before, but I will certainly be going back! It鈥檚 a beautiful island with lots of things to do during the day. My daughter ran the Catalina marathon which happened to be the same weekend. I highly recommend you seeing a show on Catalina.
